I walked over 17 kilometres today, which is pretty good going, especially on the hard streets of London. I enjoyed it though, walking from Kennington to Vauxhall, then from Vauxhall to Lambeth Bridge, then meandering up through the West End. It was a warm and quite bright day, although it doesn’t much look it from these photos. It is surprising how good photos taken on the iPhone 6S Plus can be.
Most of the snaps are around Lambeth Bridge, including an international maritime HQ which had a ship in the front door! I eventually needed a rest so for old times sake I stopped off at the Marquis of Granby, a favourite watering hole in the 70’s in Fitzrovia, one of my favourite parts of central London. It hasn’t actually changed that much, which is a good thing. The beer is good but pricey.
