Even after retirement the dread of going into work on Monday still haunts me; why is working life often so unpleasant?
I enjoyed about 10 years or so of my working life. The rest was dull or unpleasant; perhaps I am just unlucky, but poor management seems to have played a role.

Treat your home like a Listed Building – Laser-clean!
Not only does laser cleaning your roof, walls, driveway, etc. give the best results but it also has less impact on the environment. English Heritage use laser cleaning on cathedrals and castles! A specialist is required but, if you live in Devon you are in luck.

Being a pensioner and a private tenant almost certainly means poverty. Why is that?
I try not to dwell on it but 2024 has become the year when joy was expelled from my life forever. Why must it follow that pensioners who are private tenants should almost inevitably experience poverty?
