Apps – Rent or Buy?
After returning this morning from a walk I found myself thinking about something that has been nagging me for a long time: do I take the plunge and buy software to replace what I have been using for 20 years, in order to save the monthly subscription?

Distracted Politicians?
What if… we followed the science and started building homes in 2000 that would provide a healthy and comfortable environment for the end of the 21st. century? Politicians failed to act – and continue to do so. They are all too easily distracted from science, facts, knowledge and evidence by the super-rich.

Two days on the Gower Peninsula evaluating the landscape. How can you apply a score to hills, valleys, lakes and rivers? I had no idea, but that is what we had to do.

Let’s Build More Cold Homes!
I was hoping to do almost nothing today but nearly all of my preferred activities are sedentary. It is cold – inside and out – and I am reminded of how we are incapable of building energy efficient homes, unlike so many other (colder) countries.
