This morning I am reflecting on my life as a pensioner on a low income. I am learning to live within my means but this is not the life I expected to enjoy when I was younger. The No.1 problem? Being a private tenant.

I have enjoyed a great day of listening to music on my HiFi, mostly records but also a bit of streaming too. Whilst on a nostalgia streak I was reminded of the excellent and underrated Graham Parker.

Bland Tomatoes!
A lot of thought on my mind this morning. I wonder why that happens? Anyway, I found myself reminded of some quite nice tomatoes purchased at the weekend, and how factory farming and supermarkets have reduced choice.
