Free from Rage?
I feel guilty about my thoughts this morning, but this is my diary so I ought to record how I feel. I have had a week more-or-less free from the rage of a person who has one foot in an alternative reality, and I have felt free and less anxious as a result.

I have many memories of Newton Abbot bus station spread over some decades and, like many townspeople over a certain age I still regret its passing.

Living alone I sometimes think that perhaps wanting two ‘reception’ rooms is extravagant. But why? Whether it is one person or four, you can still want two reception rooms.

Summer Savouries?
Summer has returned! My thoughts turn to great summer days of not so long ago, with me eating savouries in the garden, reading a book, writing this or just lazing in the warmth. If only I could do that now…

Marching Trees!
The weather is better this morning but despite that some of the plants in my garden are suffering. The wind has been relentless for some weeks now. I came to think about trees, and how they ‘migrate’ in the face of human climate change.
