Scotland Day 3: Review: The Harbour Lights Cafe, Lossiemouth

, ,

We decided we needed lunch and lavatorial facilities, not necessarily in that order, so we left Portknockie at 11:04 and by 11:44 arrived at Lossiemouth harbour for lunch, at what turned out to be a damn near perfect cafe.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
Highly recommended

We enjoyed a selection of coffees, bacon baps, haggis and egg baps and coffee & walnut cake and the quality of the food was not only uniformly good but the portions were good too. The cafe is a very pleasant place to be, well laid out with good toilet facilities, comfortable seating – all with great views of the sea and harbour. The staff cannot be faulted and were very helpful.

Prices may seem on the slightly high side for some but are value for money, and at the end of the day that is what really counts.
