A rare event. The fact that it snows here roughly once every fifteen years used to annoy the hell out of me when I was a kid; we used to ask our dad to drive us up to Dartmoor just so that we could see snow.
But snow arrived on 17th December and is still on the ground. Whilst I’m glad to see the snow it is very slippery outside and the fact that we live on a steep hill and I have a knee injury (torn cartilage) means it is going to be difficult for me to take my parent’s dog out for a walk. Which I am looking after by the way. Because they have gone to the Scottish Highlands. To see snow.
Below – snow is so rare here that we tend to take pictures of it, if only to remind ourselves that it does actually snow from time to time – and not just on Dartmoor! Pictures of our back yard and Church Road, Newton Abbot.
