Photography: Lightroom or Photos?
I must make a choice between Lightroom and Photos before I go too far down the road of cataloguing and ‘developing’ over 9,000 photographs. The choice is not easy but I cannot possibly work on such a large collection twice, so a choice must be made.

There is nothing quite like seeing your favourite band live on stage; living in London – and within walking distance of venues like the Brixton Academy – made it easy. Looking back, 1992 seems to have been a particularly good year…
For some reason I seem to have saved quite a few concert tickets over the years, and sifting through them the year 1992 stands out as a particularly good vintage – for me at least.

I love to see snow, but it is quite rare in this part of the world. We had ‘snow’ this morning but nothing compared to the big freeze of 1963, which is where my fear of ice came from…
